Transportation Network Company

LAWA Permitted TNC Companies

The following companies are currently permitted by LAWA to perform TNC Pickup and Drop Off Services at LAX. Guests can visit flylax.com/lax-it for more information.

TNC Application

To apply for a Non-Exclusive License Agreement (NELA) for a Transportation Network Company (TNC), please see the new Application Instructions & Checklist located under GT Forms. Applicants must hold a current and valid TNC permit from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).

Access Fees

LAWA permitted TNCs are $4 charged per pickup and drop off trip at LAX or $25,000/month whichever is greater. All TNCs not permitted by LAWA are strictly prohibited from picking up at LAX but may drop off passengers on the upper level of the terminal. There is no charge for TNCs not permitted with LAWA to drop off passengers.

Transportation Charter Party (TCP) Carriers Utilizing TNC Platforms

LAWA considers all TCP carriers operating at LAX as a ‘TCP’ at all times, even when utilizing TNC platforms and apps to conduct business. This means that all TCP carriers must hold a current TCP NELA from LAWA and abide by the terms and conditions of the TCP NELA.
